iTunes Review

Anyone who checks out Ill Manors on the strength of its predecessor, The Defamation of Strickland Banks, will be shocked. Gone is Plan B’s soulful croon; in its place is a brutal hip-hop record about the demonisation of the British working class. The title track explores the roots of the 2011 London riots, while Ben Drew’s fictitious scenarios document trafficked sex workers, racist foster homes and the way poverty ruins lives. It’s a hardcore listen that takes added gravitas from its orchestral soundtrack.

Really good!!

Liking this album very much at the mo!! Plan B has done a very good job!! Don't know why people were expecting a similar album to the Strickland banks. He said before this was released that he was going back to he's usual thing( i.e more rapping!!)
Some songs stick out more than others, but generally liking every song!! Buy it now!!👍👍👍👍👍

The real deal

This album is the old meeting the new -
Old school style beats transformed into a hard hitting but smooth flowing album - Clever lyrics that punch where they need to.
This is the best rap album I've heard in years.

As amazing as any other album

Although not his best album, it's his most complete. Enjoyed most songs, all pretty AWSOME, there are songs which stand out from others like I'll manors and lost my way but as a whole, pretty damn good album, well done plan b, keep it up!

Signed to 679's roster, the London native proceeded to release a handful of singles across 2005 and 2006, which culminated in his debut album, Who Needs Actions When You Got Words. Its title a Meat Puppets reference, with tracks featuring clever samples of Hall & Oates, the Prodigy, and...
