Punk Goes 90s Goes Pretty Good

The idea of the 'Punk Goes...' series of records is awesome. I am a big fan of cover versions and the songs on this record are no exception. However, i am only giving it four atars due to some minor things. Plain White T's version of Song 2 was ok, but it could have been made more like a punk cover. The song resembled the original too closely. The same with Wonderwall, it was not a punk cover. Just a punk band playing the song. But that is really all that was wrong. Not quite perfect but real good. Best covers on the record: Under the bridge for origionality and Losing my Religion for sheer brute energy that wasn't found in R.E.M's origional. Buy For: Under the Bridge In Bloom March of the pigs Losing my religion Black Hole Sun

better than reviews say

some of the reviews are pretty harsh. these covers are meant to put a twist on the original songs, nobody can mimic a song exactly, and why would they want to. it adds to the effect of the fact that they are bringing old songs into the 2000's. good covers.

okay so the artists on this arn't bad but why is it that itunes only have 4 HiT THE LIGHTS songs on the whole of itunes, hey iTUNES people seriously you need to get their other albums like "This is a stick up ...don't make it murder". i have searched everything i can think of and i swear it isn't on Itunes!! if anyone has heard there other songs you have to agree with me there aother songs are wayy kool like 3 oh 9, anyway i do like most of the songs and artists on this album and is is pretty good
