Customer Reviews

Sweden's got much more than just ABBA....

There are so many awesome artists emerging from Scandinavia all the time and Timoteij from Sweden are just one example. This whole album is made up of songs that do the pop/folk fusion the right way. Particularly strong tracks are Kom (the band's Melodifestivalen entry for 2010), Vild, Hogt Over Angarna and Vanda Med Vinden (which is a Swedish version of Alexander Rybak's Roll With The Wind). The pace varies a bit towards the end with ballads cropping up among those lush pop/folk arrangements, and when it's over, it leaves you feeling good. Eurovision fans will love this debut from Timoteij, who remind me of Bond - only with vocals. 5 stars!!!
