Pure Joy!! I first heard the 'Raga Hansadwhani/Pilu Gat In Addha Taal' on Lucky Ocean's Dailey Planet show on ABC Radio National. It blew me away! It's a frantic, non stop, roller coaster ride of a raga, beautiful textures, bitter sweet peaks and seductive troughs as the bamboo futes and saxaphone weave ina nad out of each others path at breakneck tempo, an infinite number of variations on the original, simple theme. . . . its just beautiful! I put it up there on the pedestel of greats next to Chris McGregor's Brotherhood of Breath and the young Coltrane's Seraphic Light!
