brilliant interpretation

I bought this album on the basis of a good review in the Sydney Morning Herald, and I was really impressed with the choice & interpretation of Lennon's music. I thought Mother was a surprising choice, but it turned out to be is a brilliant version.

Surprise Surpise

I am a long time fan of Bill's approach to the guitar, his love of melody and sparse but considered harmony. The news that he has undertaken to do a collection of Lennon tunes intrigued me and on first listen, his trademark treatment of Lennon's music was refreshing.
