Tech N9ne

this is Techs 2nd album of this year (Sickology 101) that was a colabos one where Tech gets lots of diffrent rappers to peform so the presure is taken of him this how ever is a straight solo album with some help from other members of Strange Music and Three 6 Mafia. This album is great it realy shows the level of skill that tech has i would have liked to have seen less skits but this is still a really solid effort i just wish the australian Itunes would have done what the American one did and give people a chance to preorder it so they can get the two bonus tracks Like I Died and F.U.N still im just happy they put it up this quick. the features are really good, for anyone how dosent know Corey Taylor from Slipknot was ment to be on the track killing you but sadly he did not get his vocals back in time. Apart from that the Features are good you have guys like Kutt Calhoun, Krizz Kaliko, Big Scoob, Brotha Lynch Hung, Skatterman, Three 6 Mafia, Prozak, King Gordy and Irv Da Phenom. I still would have liked it if the members from Gave Plott would have done a verse seeing as this is ment to be a dark album i would have also liked to see Stevie stone and Slaugterhouse as well seeing as they are touring with Tech as i write this also Tech should have put Cognito in here as well seeing as he i a new Strange Music member and has got a album coming out next year. Still you can not take anything away from Tech N9ne he is the king of Kansas City and in my oppinon one of the best active rappers in the world right now. I would recomend this album to anyone how likes good hard rap and is tired of all the stuff you here on the radio, give Tech a chance hes been in the game for close ot 25 years i think its about time people start to take a lil notice of his work!

The King has Returned

Sickology101 was criticised for not being 'dark' enough ... well this album changes that. As the name suggests, 'The King of Darkness' is anything but cheery. The album really shows that Tech N9NE is still a strong force in the game and that his music hasn't deterioated or changed over the years. The songs are solid and the message is clear. K.O.D. is a true hip-hop album and one which no real fan of the genre can pass up. Excellent.

While he debuted in the underground realm of horrorcore and seemed destined to be a future footnote, rapper Tech N9ne grew to be an indie rap superstar. In the process, he built his Strange Music label into a Psychopathic Records-styled empire with an accompanying loyal fan base, but when it comes to influence, Tech arguably topped underground trailblazers Insane Clown Posse thanks to collaborations with mainstream artists and a style that evolved from horrorcore to hardcore and confessional.
