Soaring

I find it difficult to believe there so little written about this album. Perhaps because TD are associated with New Age and 'medative states'. For me this is easily the best TD album. Almost rock. Explodes in a myriad of wonderful compositions, from soft and sincere, space adventure, to moody and explosive, dangerous. The track Chronozon is a true all-time electronic original, and I'd be very hard pressed to find anything to compare it to either within TD or elsewhere. Like a wizard conducting a storm. This album came out when we were in the thrall of Pink Floyd, and has some parallels with Mike Oldfield and, strangely (perhaps only to me) The Moody Blues. This album is special. Please give it a listen.
