Short Term Memory

I could never be bothered before to actually go looking for a Suzanne Vega CD, sure i thought a couple of her songs were ok but had since forgotten and got caught up in more recent female vocalists. Then going through my iTune album recommendations "Marlene on the wall" jumped out. I ended up sampling the whole album and found i knew and loved almost half the songs on it. I recommend to those who knew of Vega in her prime and even to the teens of today who did not, to just give the album a chance. A chance to sweep you up with it's sweet but strong melodies, let you breathe with her swift but emotionally charged lyrics. I just wish i had stumbled across this collection of great songs before now, but better late than never. If you love Morcheeba, Jem or Enya you will definetly fall for Suzanne Vega: Retrospective.
