Country stalwart Don Williams provides a live set of his greatest hits on the aptly titled Live Greatest Hits, Vol. 2. The group he's assembled, including Mike Nobel and Billy Sanford on guitar, Charles Cochran on keyboards, drummer Brian Barnett, and bassist Dave Pomeroy, all turn in note-perfect renditions of Williams' hits, including "'Til the Rivers All Run Dry," "Back in My Younger Days," and the album's highlight, "I Believe in You." Recorded at different locations, Williams' voice sounds as smooth as it did in the '70s, and the live environment gives a new life to the songs.
