Album Review

IIIrd Tyme Out is a great group. Their warmth, subtlety, and rollicking spirit have earned them tremendous praise from all corners of the country music industry. It is well deserved, for there isn't a song on Living on the Other Side that doesn't capture the glory of bluegrass' greatest acts while simultaneously strengthening the genre for the next century. Their first all gospel album features Earl Scruggs on a cover of "I'm Working on the Road to Gloryland" and traditional tunes in outstanding arrangements. IMBA awarded them Vocal Group of the Year in 1994, 1995, and 1998.
