New Order Lost sirens

Another stunning offering from New Order. They still sound as good as ever and it's great to see New Order still around. Five stars.

Lost Sirens

These songs are pretty damned good for 'rejects', which didn't make it on to Waiting For The Siren's Call. They don't sound very dated at all, despite being approximately 10 years old. Tracks 1 & 6 are the best for mine. The rest are well worth a listen, particularly if you're a New Order fan.

The Siren still calls: no need to wait

Some new songs need a second listen. But that's not the case here. Straight up these are New Order staples. Familiar loops and light hearted cynical lyrics, with a few surprises (e.g., track three). While Bernard and Hooky have become lost Sirens, there is plenty worth discovering here. Sure the tracks are nearly a decade old. But that was the last time the old order were together. An important chapter in New Order's musical journey.
