iTunes Review

In 2004, with No Doubt’s output increasingly geared towards a mainstream audience, Gwen Stefani finally launched a solo career, which unashamedly embraced pop music. Featuring production work from the likes of Andre 3000, The Neptunes and Dr. Dre, it remains a staggeringly inventive debut.

Customer Reviews

Gwen is the coolest singer eva she has her own unique style that everyone loves. I liked her in no doubt but I love her solo. My fav songs are what you waiting for, hollaback girl, cool, rich girl, luxurious and crash. Gwen you rock!!!!!!!

What you waiting for? Buy this!

Despite the tacky review title you should still buy this album. Gwen has that special flame seen in artists such as Madonna and Cyndi Lauper. This album is both a revival of 80's pop and a smooth blend of modern sounding music. Songs such as "What you waiting for" and "Danger Zone" contain brilliant lyrics and excellent sound. Others let the album down lyrically, such as "Crash", but this can be forgiven, as each song, although quirky, is a perfect example of good pop. This album has cemented Gwen's place in Diva Hood, although she should not be classed as simply a Diva, because this girl is in a league of her own.

Born and raised in Fullerton, California, Stefani had a musical epiphany at the age of 17. She had fallen in...
