Paradise STARS

An absolute Australian classic from the late 70's! I listened to this so many times it's in my DNA,(and wore my old vinyl copy out).Great songs backed up by topline musicianship featuring the unstoppable Mal Eastick on lead guitar( surely one of the best guitarists to ever pick up a Strat).Mick Pealing on vocals and the late and sadly missed Andy Durant on rythme, vocals and harp.Glyn Dowding and Roger McLauglin (ex LRB) providing sterling service on drums and bass.Buy this now! Along with all of Stars other releases,Land of Fortune, 1157(live) and Live at Bombay Rock.Revel in one of the greatest Aussie bands ever!

Paradise - it really was

Stars were one of Australia's greatest ever bands, and they created a uniquely Australian take on country rock. Paradise captures them at their creative peak. By drawing on our past they showed the richness of Australian history as a songwriting source. They didn't really need their take on Rocky Mountain Way here, but it's a wonderful memory of how powerful they were as a live band rocking out pubs across the land.
