The lost blindside album?

It seems a few blindside fans gave this album a miss after realising it didn't sound like previous albums. But as a long time blindside fan (I got into their first album back in the late 90s!) I have seen the change and progression in their music, especially through their first few albums, and it was only while they were signed to a major label that they stuck with a more homogeneous sound. I do love the new album, With Shivering Hearts We Wait, and in some ways it represents a return to that major label sound (while in other ways it continues their progression as songwriters) and I even found myself wondering, while listening to one song off the new album, which blindside album it came from (before realising it was one of their new ones), but I would have to say, at this stage, that I think the Great Depression is Blindside's best album. I think from memory it took a while to really get into this album, but it was worth persisting with it because there are very few week tracks. Buy it and enjoy!
