Tracey can always send the listener into a world of melancholy and heartbreak and this song certainly does both, but with exquisite beauty. The arrangement sounded a little too clever at first but by the end of the song it had made perfect sense, a journey. Musicians are obviously lining up to work with her ... a true diva in the kindest sense. It must be stressed that under no circumstances should any couples thinking of marriage listen to this recording. Ever.


A little more of a raw accoustic track from TT.
Honestly it is a grower and if you are expecting more of the same of the last album, you might be disapointed, however her clever/charming lyrics and her amazing vocals do not disapoint.

While Marine Girls were active, Thorn released A Distant Shore, a relatively moody, if similarly skeletal solo album, on Cherry Red in 1982.
