Customer Reviews

Wow, you certainly know your obsessed with an album when you can not stop listening to it. I literally spent the first few weeks after buying the album, listening to absolutely nothing else. I even went to extremes of stealthy listening to it during boring classes. Such a great range of different sounds, and meaningful lyrics (that i can pretty much recite now as a result of my excessive listening). Great musician, great voice, great person GREAT ALBUM :)

songbird of our generation

This debut album from Jack Carty is an absolute STUNNER. Beautiful melodies and heartfelt lyrics; this kid is a keeper for sure. From the first track this album draws you in and keeps you warm. From the boppy country style of Valentina, to the poignant heartbreak of The Tempest to the distinctly Australian vibe of Sandakan; there is nowhere this album doesn't go and no heart string you can't feel it tug at.

Jack Cart is a triple threat, and I hear he's recently purchased a banjo. If there's one thing that makes a threatening man more threatening it is definitely a banjo.

This album will make you happy. It has the ability to soothe the soul and make you believe everything is right with the world. Jack Carty has many a gift, and he shares them all with us here.

Very cool live

Just finished excellent live show at The Vanguard. The songs from this album and his new one yet to be released were very impressive for all the right reasons. Want to listen to more!
