iTunes Review

Double albums can sometimes signify a kind of doomed creative bloat but Scottish overachievers Biffy Clyro have long proved that they’re as comfortable confounding expectations as they are pounding eardrums. Totalling 20 tracks (hewn from a possible 40), Opposites has the quality to support its grand scope, whether its grabbing you by the lapels with bracing stabs of guitar (“Sounds Like Balloons”, “Picture a Knife Fight”) or packing tender, twisted lullabies (“The Thaw”, “Skylight”). A sonic odyssey that showcases the beating hearts beneath those tattooed chests.

Disappointed with Preorder

Well apparently if you went to the preorder this album, much anticipated and one of their best, you don't get that whole track listing. 14 songs as opposed to 22. That doesn't make sense. And now I cannot just do a 'Complete My Album' manoeuvre because iTunes doesn't regester that I've bought the songs.

This album has more hits than ever, and Biffy Clyro really outdid themselves on this one. Notable tracks include: The Thaw, The Fog, Biblical, Black Chandelier and Pocket. A must buy- MON THE BIFF!!

Cracking album!

Best album I have listened to in a long time. Great band, great to hear their recorded work after seeing them live. Loving it! So many standout songs... Awesome!!!
