Metronomy's 'Night Out' is a electronica/pop odyssy, ranging from exciting musical experimentation and interludes to epic electropop hits. Interwoven synth melodies and electronica beats allow for a sense of saticfation not normally found in modern electronica, while the beats are kickin' the tunes are catchy and the pop sensibilities are perfectly balanced by obscure sounds and experimentation. 'Nights Out' is a triumph for Metronomy, and a great follow up to their largely instrumental debut, 'Pip Paine (Pay back the 5000 Pounds You Owe)'. A great buy.
