She'll be fine with a little bit of Spitshine

For those that listened to The Signal many times over, the electro feel of Spitshine comes as a little bit of a surprise at first. After repeated listens, the amazing production (Count Bounce, Elgusto & Hermitude) begins to unravel many layers not normally found within your everyday hip-hop track. Urthboy lifts his game once again with his unique storytelling ability and smooth as butter flow. All the elements of the album- lyrics, production, guest artists & singers combine together so seamlessly that it creates an album that feels incredibly complete as a whole. Spitshine is a beautifully crafted album that becomes even richer with multiple listens. A must buy!

Great step in a new direction

Very different, yet strangely familiar. Great new direction. Still got the rolling rhymes of Urthboy but some very tough songs. Really good stuff. Diggin it. Looking forward to spitshine tour in November! Support Aussie hip-hops talet. This is great stuff!

Contrary to...

the previous reviewer, I don't believe that's what he was after at all, with the electro-rap sound. It seems more to be a more in-depth version of The Signal, sound-wise. The style certainly, Is similar. My 2c is, Or, Rather, My $17 is that Urthboy has once again, Outdone himself with Spitshine. For those who want a one sentence description of the album as a whole, I'd have to say, Think "The Signal" with an edgy undertone.
