John Squire. Without this guitar Genius, would anybody care about the Seahorses? Probably not. But who cares? An album has been created around his whirling ability, and it may be because of this that a good album has been created.However, as most listeners come from a Stone Roses back ground, expectations will be shot down to a degree, there is a more melodic pop album here, not so much psychadelia and haunting lyrics. For new comers-enjoy! May this lead you onto greater things...The Stone Roses and Second Coming.

Best known as the post-Stone Roses project of guitarist John Squire, the Seahorses picked up where the last Stone Roses record left off, leaning toward traditional rock rather than the dance-influenced Brit-pop of the Stone Roses' heyday.
