OMG!

What?!? Only 18 on the charts?! This is the best song ever, it should be #1. I could listen to this song all day

Meh..

I really don't understand why this song is so popular. I mean listen to the lyrics… Are MKTO referring to their/my generation of young people because the only lies I can think of that we've been told is about Santa, Tooth Fairy, and all the other fairy tales that kids live and breath. "We are the ones, the ones you left behind". WE aren't left behind. If anything we're being thrust forward into life with lots of blessings others take advantage of. "Thank you for the wars you left behind". There will always be faults in humanity. Its stupid to think of a 'perfect' world anyway 'cos that can't ever happen. We would all go mad searching for it. Is it supposed to be dedicated to the 'outcasts' of normality?.. because there's no such thing if you think about it. I don't understand the meaning to this song. Maybe my teenage angst,, 'n' shhh is constipated. … overall I think this song is very childish. And really we should be saying a 'Thank You' to the people who have helped better our world for the future generations.

Post Script: Jus' typin' what came to mind. … Perhaps I'm overanalysing…?
