More in love with SFK than ever!

It has already been said: this beautiful song is like a summary of all previous SFK work. All the elements, so familiar and dear to us fans, are there, like a special friend we've known all our lives who has stuck with us even in the darkest and loneliest of times. There are some newer things too, like more prominent backing vocals from Steph and the choral interludes; both are a nice touch. As always, there is that note that suggests, despite everything, hope and faith that everything will be all right in the future. Totally appropriate for a song called "The Futurist."

Another great tune

SFK don't disappoint with this new song. Very familiar sounds with a bit of new (did I hear backing vocals !!) & a bit of a drum solo. Catchy chorus. Great cover by the way.

How could it not be great?

Everytime this band puts out a single, EP or album, they evolve somehow, even if only in a very subtle way. I always think- this is it, they wont get any better than this.... but again they have proved me wrong. I wish this was the first song from an album full of new material, but I know it will come, so i'll wait as long it takes, and I know it will be worth it.

Formed: 1993 in Melbourne, Australia

On stage he stands at the microphone, guitar in hand, carefully dreaming out loud his evocative image-ridden lyrics. Even when the band's atmospheric backings build to their powerful climaxes,...
