Good album

Has an MGMT sound to it, but with something extra.

Dissapointing

Really dissapointing considering how good the first album was. Doesn't capture the same vibe and many of the songs are washed out and passable.

I am 63 this month, came across Gypsy And The Cat a couple of months ago, LOVE them ,their music to me has a freedom that i enjoy.I have just purchased The Late Blue. Keep It Up Troops.

Following in the footsteps of Cut Copy, Ladyhawke, and Empire of the Sun, Gypsy & the Cat are a self-described "semi-acoustic chillwave" duo who further cemented Australia's reputation as the ultimate hotbed of synth pop talent. Named after a children's book, guitarist/drummer Xavier Bacash and classically trained pianist Lionel Towers both attended the same high school, but due to their three-year age difference, only struck up a friendship when they met while DJ'ing in Melbourne.
