Onwards and upwards

Big Country replaced the depressed socialist concerns of 1984's 'Steeltown' with a killer album of songs, most noticably leaning towards Scottish history and a sense of a better future with a collection of songs that sees leader Stuart Adamson ( lead guitar and vocals)and his cohorts Bruce Watson (guitar), Mark Brzezicki (drums) and Tony Butler (bass) galloping through some awesomely magnificent rock anthems such as 'Remembrance Day', 'I Walk The Hill' and 'The Red Fox'. 'Look Away', the bands' highest charting UK hit (No.7) ( Aus. top20 ) has a lyrical and guitar hook that will keep you humming the tune all day. Big Country know how to rock, 'The Seer' is a brilliant example of four gifted musicians plying their trade. Kate Bush even makes a guest appearance on the title track.
