Grammy award winner Jimmy Sturr forges ahead with his timeless combination of polka, country, and Cajun on his Rounder release Touched By a Polka. Utilizing the guest voices of Mel Tillis and the Jordanaires (the later have shown up on numerous Sturr recordings), this enthusiastic session combines the celebratory "St. Patty's Polka Medley" and "Come Polka With Us" with country classics "If You've Got the Money I've Got the Time" and "San Antonio Rose" in which Sturr and company effortlessly adjust them to the polka beat.
