One of the finest gifts from goth

This album still excites me over 20 years since its release. Rosetta Stone was the best uk Goth group ever. Love Porl King's vocals, his politics and that his band didn't pretend to not be goth... King understands sound production and crafts killer sound scapes.

Goth rock outfit Rosetta Stone started in 1988 when vocalist/guitarist Porl King and bassist Karl North yearned to escape the traditional Brit-pop scene happening in their native Liverpool. A year later, the duo met the Mission's Wayne Hussey, who offered to produce Rosetta Stone's first album.
