Ratings and Reviews
Gem of a album by Sydney via London multi-instrumentalist. This album ducks and weaves between beauty and somber and draws in the listener at every note. Great Album
Saw Fletcher perform with just his guitar in a small theatre in Coffs Harbour. Not knowing who he was. He opened with Dance To The End Of The Night. Truly mesmerizing. A very special talent. Was blown away. Hope he returns. Also plays guitar with Sarah Blasko who followed after. Great concert!!! Buy this album you won't be disappointed!
Best Kept Secret
This is such a creative and honest album... tell everyone about it!!!
A moody and stylish pop singer/songwriter who cites Lorde as a primary inspiration, FLETCHER first gained attention for "War Paint," a digital single that went viral in the summer of 2015. Born Cari Fletcher in Asbury Park, New Jersey on March 19, 1994, the singer/songwriter fell in love with music as a child, taking vocal lessons when she was five years old. Upon graduating from high school, her first big break in the music industry arrived when she competed on the premiere season of the American version of The X Factor in 2011, performing as a member of the group Lakoda Rain. Later, she enrolled at the Clive Davis Institute at New York University. After a year and a half of study, she took a leave of absence to move to Nashville to collaborate with producer/songwriter Jamie Kenney. With an EP finished, she headed back to school, during which time the single "War Paint" went viral in 2015, racking up millions of plays on streaming services. She capitalized on its success by releasing the Finding Fletcher EP in 2016, which was preceded by the single "Wasted Youth." FLETCHER embarked on a full-length album in 2017, which was teased by the release of the single "You Should Talk" in September of that year. ~ Stephen Thomas Erlewine
