A True Work Of Art

This album is just simply briiliant!! if you like hard rock then give ALTER BRIDGE a crack. Worth the 3 years wait. I cant wait to see if they tour Australia again.

Finally some music with meaning and substance

Sick and tired of over-produced, shamelessly commercial albums that have been flooding the airwaves of late? Then look no further then this album. Great songwriting, great musicianship and hasn't had the life sucked out of it via ProTools :)

The opening track starts the album off perfectly. Myles voice sounds different to past offerings, but it works especially well in the intro to this song. No auto-tune here either, Myles Kennedy is in amazing form on this album. Listen out for the note he hits in Breathe Again (one of my standout tracks). Words Darker Than Their Wings has Tremonti sharing some vocal duties and it works amazingly. This song is what Blackbird was to the last album - HUGE!.

Wonderful Life introduces a slightly different side to the band, but it works brilliantly. Chorus to die for on this one.

Every track is a gem and it just gets better with each repeat listen. Blackbird (their last album) blew me away on the first listen, this didn't have the same effect, but it has now totally captivated me. Awesome!!

Rock at its best

Simply awesome. Do yourself a favor and get this album.

Written largely by Tremonti, the record tried to lean more toward a hard rock/metal sound than the post-grunge grandstanding of his previous group. After...
