The Kings of Selkirk return - and what a return it is! The Winter of Mixed Drinks promises to be one of the best releases of 2010. This is a band on the rise. With each release they display a growing maturity and a musical excellence which is hard to ignore. TWOMD's is a superb collection of songs which are both impassioned and unforgettable. With a tip of the hat towards Arcade Fire and Sigur Ros the Rabbits charge on with a collection of songs which beg the listener to clap, stomp, and sing-along to. " The Loneliness" is superb and this is followed by every single track on the album. I defy anyone to listen to "Living In Colour" and be unable to sing out loud, clap their hands and stomp their feet - it's an anthemic classic in the making!

In short, Frightened Rabbit have produced a piece of musical and lyrical excellence - of which Sir Walter Scott would have been extremely proud!! This band are going to be huge!!

I am madly in love with this album. The songs are more intense and orchestral than their last cd. Every one of the songs are great. Get the whole lot and have an awesome time listening.
