Finally In Australia

When i went over to London in June i was at a wireless festival and saw this guy in a very small tent (as he was an un-know) but he was fantastic. This album is no exception, he has a very raw and raspy voice (especially live). Although he sounds quite a bit like James Blunt i think that he has a lot more variations in the way that he sings, and he does not just rely on high tones to make him great. He has got a more soul "preech it" feel. My favorite song from this is "Burns Like Summer Sun", i think i has a great deal of hurt behind it and is quite a slow song. The other two songs have a faster tempo when you get into them with "You Give Me Something" having a more gospal feel, and "Is There Anybody Home?" a stange combination of soul and light rap.... This is a great EP and showcases three different sides of Morrison, the only reason i am giving it 4 stars is becuase he is just so much better live....

Heard it. Loved it. Bought it.

I agree, definitely like james blunt, except......better, lol, in my opinion anyway. Very nice songs. I recommend to anyone. 5 stars all the way.

Morrison was born in the West Midlands town...
