Latest update
Just did the latest update and now 8player pro no longer works. So what ever you did, you certainly stuffed me up.
What do I do now?
Love it - such a reliable player
I use it to play just about any file format off an NAS SMB share - rarely lets me down
Would love a better search that includes subfolders - and maybe some better metadata and chapter handling - but otherwise a happy camper
It's OK but with one limitation
The app is stable and loads quickly. Once you're watching a movie or TV program it is clear and the audio is good. You can jump forward or backwards it hour any buffering issues. I haven't found a format it won't play from my Seagate WiFi Plus. My only criticism is it takes a long time to make all my files available. I have about 400gb of various movies and TV shows in a few different folders. You have to keep hitting the Refresh button when you are looking for something when you launch the app. A bit annoying but it's better than the Seagate standard player app. I'm going to try Goodplayer after reading a few reviews.
