Love a good fairytale but tired of pastel colours and predictable endings? Great! Because that would make you a lover of whimsy, quirkiness and off beat which means this story is for you!

Hand-drawn original artwork and lively animation tell this story from a rather different perspective than the Disney versions and takes you into a world of darkness, light and wonderful colour.

This book will need you to take a moment, slow down, find a quiet spot (perhaps grab a nice cup of tea) and enjoy a gently told yet Sweeping Tale.

The Sultan of Bruno

Prepare to be charmed! The exquisitely drawn characters of this gentle, whimsical tale will seduce you away from the prosaic Hurley-burley of contemporary life. The tale itself is enigmatic - is it melancholy? Is it wry? Is it playful? It's all of this and more - or less, if you like, as your mood takes you. No such questions arise about the art, though. Both delicate and vivid, Kate's characters and scenes will fascinate you with their elegance and style. Beautiful.

A must read for all ages

I loved the book. Its simplicity, animation and the intricacy of the messages makes me teary... It can be read for fun or as a deep personal message. It can be read as an artistic gem and it can be read as an antithesis for Cinderella. No matter how you read it, this book has got something for everyone... Such a talented author :)

Loved it!
