Outstanding tool in the classroom!
Used this app with my students to complement a literacy unit. It was fantastic! Great engagement - loved the style of choose your own adventure! The app really opened up discussion with my students and introduced difficult issues in a very sensitive way. Kids learn through empathy through being given the opportunity to put themselves in the shoes of others. This app did this and more! Great conversations, questions asked and links to current issues!
Absolutely amazing app, provides a great insight into what it means to be a refugee, definitely makes me want to research and find out more. It also makes me realise how grateful I should be for living in Australia.
Thank you for this experience :)
For every Australian
Great app. Really helps you begin to comprehend what some refugees have to go through to escape their own war torn countries. Makes me very grateful to be from a safe country such as Australia. Good work :)
