The Qantas Wellbeing App lets you earn Qantas Points for being active.
How does it work?
The App tracks and measures your activities like walking the dog, riding your bike or swimming in your local pool and then rewards you with Qantas Points.
Track and Earn
Used in tandem with your iPhone or wearable device the App allows you to set goals, take part in group challenges, and earn Qantas Points.
How do I get started?
Earning Qantas Points in the Trial
Download the Qantas Wellbeing App and simply start walking, running, swimming, or cycling over the next 28 days and you’ll earn up to 1,500 Qantas Points - that’s the same rate as someone who has an Eligible Qantas Insurance Product.
When the Trial is over, but not the points
You can still earn Qantas Points after the Trial’s over. Continue using the App without purchasing an Eligible Product and earn Qantas Points at a reduced rate each month.
To earn more Qantas Points, simply purchase an Eligible Qantas Insurance Product.
Here’s how to use the App:
• Connect your phone to Apple Health, Fitbit, Garmin or Strava
• Complete Daily and Weekly Step, Cycle and Swimming challenges
• Take part in the seven day Friends Challenge
• Collect Badges for reaching milestones
• Invite your friends and family to join you in a Friends Challenge
• Receive notifications that help motivate you
• View your step statistics
The App is compatible with:
• iPhone 5s (or above) operating on iOS 10.0 (or above) using Apple Health, Fitbit, Garmin or a wearable compatible with the Apple Health (such as the Apple Watch)
• iPhone 5 and 5c operating on iOS 10.0 (or above) using a Fitbit or Garmin

Points stolen AGAIN!! FRAUD?!
I have been losing points for the Weekly Challenge for many weeks now. I complained about this in the last version and the problem still persists after the latest update. It happened when I lowered the Weekly Challenge’s goal (e.g. from 80k to 70k) on Thursday night in order to meet target and earn points, the Congratulations page would pop up saying I have earned for example 85 points. But the Activity page won’t show the 85points - the same issue would not happen to Daily challenge though.
I have to say I am very disappointed by this. If I am having this again I would stop using this app and ultimately terminate my Qantas health insurance policy because the reason why I have been sticking to their policy is because I could earn qantas points through doing steps...
Hi Rickefeller, we're here to make sure you receive all the points you should be receiving through the Qantas Assure App, and we would love to solve your issue for you. Usually Qantas Points are awarded as soon as you've completed a challenge, however sometimes there can be up to a 2 to 3 day delay.
If you haven't already, please contact us through the support section in the app (under profile > settings > support) or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org so we can understand your issue and ensure your'e properly awarded points.
Daily pop ups
The app works fine but what is the deal with the daily pop up?
I didn't go into my app for probably a couple of months and when I did go into it, one after the other I got a pop up saying something along the lines of "congratulations! You reached the daily goal of 20 steps!!".
Because I hadn't been on there for so long they just kept coming and coming and there is no way to make it stop. I got sick of clicking "ok, got it" and just closed down the app. Now I'm just hoping I never have the need to go back into it.
Get rid of that in the next update. So unnecessary.
Thank you for your feedback. Great news! We fixed this issue some time ago so that you now receive a single point reward screen which shows a cumulation of the points you earned since you last opened the app.
This app worked well on the iPhone 7plus but on the iPhone X not so well. Before the steps counted in the activity app matched the apple health and qantas assure app. Now they can be as high as 6000 steps out, with the activity app being ahead. The rings are slow to catch up on both the apple health and qantas app. Plus I’m now finding that when I sit for more than 10 min it takes steps off my count in the apple health and then doesn’t catch up to the Qantas app.
If these can be fixed, I’d give it 5 stars
