On the 1star rating
The post saying pride and prejudice isn’t read by anyone that is appropriate for the role. Well I listened and, it’s a play and it even has a reader for every role, not just a clear and concise voice to convey the literature but a play. Put 7 ppl in 7 sound rooms to blend like it on a sound board as is standard, then to mix them and with no audio track in the back is so much harder than doing so with music. Worth dling the app
Love it!!!
So worth it. Has all the classics and everything from the LibriVox project. Couldn't ask for anything better. The app is easy to use, has a sleep timer and lets you download the file to your device to listen to offline.
Surely this is a joke
Those chosen to narrate these books have obviously been selected from the general population in shopping centre car parks. It is ridiculous to expect people to want to continue listening to someone speaking in the manner that these narrators speak.
If you have the opportunity listen to The first minute of crime and punishment by Dostoyevsky and you will understand why this must be a joke. I have listened to the beginning of eight books on this app and it doesn’t get any better ever in fact it mostly gets worse.
