4 - Earn CPD within the app with articles and an Ausmed Subscription
This app is free to download and use in the following ways:
- Document all of your CPD for free, including inservice, conferences/seminars, online learning or any other type of CPD
- Earn CPD by reading the free in-app articles
- Manage two professions concurrently (ideal for nurses with two qualifications)
- A built in reflection tool with helpful questions and prompts

You can also upgrade to Ausmed Subscription at www.ausmed.com/upgrade for instant access to video education and faster documentation tools.
Other features free include:
Your documentation will automatically synchronise with the Ausmed.com website (also free to use) ensuring your records are constantly backing up to the cloud. For example, you could quickly document an inservice activity on your way home from work, then write a more extensive reflection using your tablet or desktop. You can also download a full PDF summary of your documentation from the website.
This is a free app designed to help nurses and midwives, occupational therapists and physiotherapists to comply with CPD. Ausmed was first to provide nurses with a free tool of this nature in 2010. This mobile app is straightforward and easy to use. The Ausmed team are regularly testing the app with nurses and midwives at our conference and seminars. As always, please contact us if you have any feedback at all; would like help using the app; or have suggestions about future development.
This incredibly light-weight app is fast to download (only 25MB), fast to load and incredibly fast to use.

Ratings and Reviews
It was an unusually quiet night shift on the maternity unit when a colleague introduced me to this AMAZING app. Using this clever intuitive app has taken a weight of my shoulders.
For a long time I knew I had to get organised with recording my CPD activity but couldn’t get motivated to start and was also concerned that whilst having dual qualification s (RN & RM) midwifery was my main career, I couldn’t accumulate CPD points for my General, this app shows me how to seperate them easily,
Not being able to proceed without a “reflection “ ensures that it’s relevant, I’m sure as I become more experienced my reflections will improve ( pun intended)!
So thank you Ausmed, I no longer have to worry about an APHRA email saying “you have been chosen as an audit candidate”
Find this app great at logging and finding up to date information to inform learning and reinforce knowledge or show a different perspective on how to do thing. Only thing that would improve the app, would be if hyperlinks opened within the app rather than taking you externally on a browser, and navigation on articles in the previously viewed that you want to reread before submitting them as documentation. Otherwise great! Takes away my fear of cpd and being audited.
Thank you for your feedback. We will aim to introduce a native browser experience in a future version of the app. Great suggestion.
AIN and RAO
I was advised that this app would be very handy, however when I downloaded it there was nothing for Aged Care Workers. I did send a few emails with a response that they would pass it on. It wasn’t until I posted my not so happy review here that they let me know it was more suitable. Thank you so much, I am ever so grateful and I am sure other Aged Care Workers will be as happy with this great app! 👍🏻
Thanks for your email. You can now select 'Other Health Professional' in the Profession management section to track AIN and RAO learning. Thank you.
Up to six family members will be able to use this app with Family Sharing enabled.
