Surprisingly impressed.

This was the first app to pop up when I searched "food trackers" in the app store, and has been the one that I have stuck by ever since. It was a really great idea to have this app Australian made, and it continues to give me a lot of convenience when entering products because I can instantly find the exact ones, unlike other apps based in other countries. If not, I can scan the barcode (though it takes a while for it to register - perhaps a better barcode scanner could improve the app). It's also very convenient in having multiple options for preset and custom serving sizes for the foods.

The layout is simple and easy to use. I quite appreciate the "notes" section as I can put in further details about my day. You may find this helpful if you have medications to take -- you can record that you've taken them on that day and check back to following days, editing previous days if need be (this point covers all data entries, actually.)

I would definitely recommend this to other fellow Australians looking for a food/exercise/weight tracking app.

Solid app with a few basic missing features

This is a very good app for Aussies. It’s reliable and the app itself records macro nutrients perfectly. Yes, the app. But it’s integration with Apple Health is lacking. As the Apple Watch and the Health app gets more and more refined, I feel this diet app also needs to step it up. Apart from dietary energy it sends nothing else to the HealthKit app. Yet to monitor macros is essential. I would love to see that in the future. Also, an Apple Watch app would be fantastic with the macros and the most recent meal items so that you could tap and add things straight from your wrist. I really like MyFitnessPal app but that an American app with their food. But the layout is fantastic. Mind you it lags. If our Aussie app would have that strong link with HealthKit app...I would even pay a few bucks for that!

Great app and easy to use

Really surprised at how easy this app is to use for keeping count of daily intakes of everything.
Barcode scanning is simple and fast way of entering items, but the most handiest function to me is being able to add recipes.
Being able to create a recipe in its most basic form, then add other items as required really speeds up the process, instead of searching ingredients and adding one by one to a lunch or dinner meal.

The addition of something like a “recommended average daily intake” table or a calculated percentage of intakes under the headings of Protein, Fat, Sodium etc so you can easily see where you might be over or under the recommended daily intake value would make this app just about perfect.
