Update size is ridiculous

My grandson loves this app but when updates require over a gig each time I cannot always update as I don't have that much download time to waste. Surely you developers should have figured out by now how to make the updates smaller. I don't have this problem with other more complex apps that are just as big when first purchased. I should not need to download a whole new app every time. It is in danger of being deleted permanently from my device. . Because of this the number of stars goes from 4 to 2!

Good for pre-school and early primary

Sansha Johnson

A nice app for exploration by pre-school and early primary students as it doesn't require much reading. There is a nice variety of things, and less common things mentioned for my country (Australia) but I did feel like some really essential and important landmarks around the globe were missing. Overall, a great app but a little over priced.

Complete waste of space

The developers of this "atlas" have invested heavily in style and not a bit in substance. It looks pretty (for the two minutes it takes to get bored with it), but has very little content. What skeletal content it has is dull, unbelievably brief (a couple of sentences on a topic with one nice photo that you have to open separately), and highly jingoistic and stereotyped. Goodness knows how they even decided on some of the peculiar subjects covered at the expense of actual contemporary and relevant alternatives.

Save yourself a gigabyte of RAM...avoid this app.
