Description
Booko Buddy is a companion app to the popular price comparison engine, Booko. It will find the cheapest price online (including delivery) for a book, DVD or Blu-Ray delivered to Australia, Canada, China, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Japan, New Zealand, Norway, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Taiwan, the United Kingdom and the United States.
Using Booko Buddy you can quickly and easily look up the price and availability of your favourite books and DVDs. Searches can be performed by title, author, ISBN, keyword or by scanning the barcode.
Once you've looked up a book or DVD you can pick a vendor and be linked directly to the buy page to complete the transaction. Linking is via Booko so that your purchase still supports the best price comparison engine on the Internet!
You can also create and organise your own lists of books and DVDs, to buy later or to share with a friend.
NOTE: Due to Amazon Terms of Service, Booko Buddy will not display any data from any Amazon store.

Handy
It's a handy app to have on the go but would be great if you could have a 'wish list' incorporated so you can add books that you like and come back at a later date to compare and decide, just a suggestion!
What happened?
I used to love this app but recently the full range of books I've searched for did not appear in my booko search - namely book versions, even though they were available at common retailers (iTunes/kobo) and some of the retailers booko referred me to did not actually have the book I wanted available (or at stated price). Disappointed.

Used to be a great app, saved me heaps of money buying books, but now it’s no longer supported and doesn’t work properly. So sad🥺
