The BPme app with mobile payment service lets you pay for fuel from the comfort of your car.

Download the BPme fuel app and find your nearest petrol station to fill up and go. With the app’s inbuilt fuel map of Australia, you’ll know exactly where and how far away your nearest petrol station can be found. So, whether you’re looking for fuel in NSW or Victoria, you can locate the most convenient BP petrol station with pinpoint accuracy.

Easy to set up: Simply load your preferred payment methods securely onto your phone - PayPal, Visa, MasterCard, AMEX.

Easy to use: Pull into your nearest petrol station, enter the pump number and confirm your payment method with our fuel app. Briefly wait for the pump to unlock before getting out of the car to fill up. Once you have finished fuelling, the app will show that you're all paid up and good to go.

Easy to keep track: A transaction summary will show in your fuel app and a tax invoice will be emailed to you. You can also look up your previous mobile purchases from any BP petrol station in your transaction history.

Easy to locate a BP station: Tap the ‘Station Finder’ icon in the app and choose from the closest BP locations. If you’re looking for fuel in NSW, for instance, you can see BP petrol stations in the surrounding area with the inbuilt fuel map of Australia. Just choose the closest one.

Simple and intuitive to use, our BPme fuel app can be used at participating BP petrol stations. It’s Australia-wide too, so you can pay for fuel in your car in NSW, Queensland, Victoria or Western Australia.

The initial setup process is too long and switches between the app & online. I also made the mistake the first time of filling up before launching the app and then had to wait for the store person to override it before it would process my payment. Made it half way to the register before that happened. There should be an option come up to select whether you have filled up already or not. Used it today for the second time and remembered to open the app first but even though the app says the pump is released and able to be used you still have to wait until the store person releases it before you can fill up. Also massive lag between finishing and the payment being approved. I actually got my emailed receipt before the app showed that payment had been made & I could drive off. It is good to not have to get all of the kids out of the car to pay for fuel but with all the lags it doesn’t actually save much time. Disappointing also that not all places accept the app.

Regarding the unlocking of the pump, thank you for letting us know- it is not the customer service experience we aim for at our BP stations. If you could please provide more information such as the specific station, time and date of the transaction I will be able to pass it onto the relevant team to investigate further. Regarding approval of payment, thanks for your feedback, we are looking into this further to understand what caused this. The app is available at over 600 (and rising) BP stations across the country, and likely to build to 700+ stations in 2018. To check your nearest BPme enabled station, simply download the app and find the nearest BP participating station in the Station Finder. Thanks.

Time saver - rewards

Setting up my account and adding a payment option was easy and relatively fast. Used the app at the bowser yesterday and all went smoothly and quickly. The “pay for fuel” tab was self explanatory and easy to navigate. Currently no option to link Velocity points (lost a rating star for that). I understand velocity cards can still be used in-store but this defeats the purpose of the app in my opinion. From reading other previous reviews of this app it is quite clear that many consumers (myself included) believe this feature should have been included in the initial release, not been left as an afterthought with a promise that “the app is under constant development and more features will be added in the future”. It currently feels like we are “missing out” on a reward we would have otherwise be offered. All round a great app and keen to see the rewards link option soon.

As you’ve pointed out, though, we are working on bringing new features to the app which will hopefully bring with them a better customer experience. A little tricky to setup for me, mainly because I assumed I could create a single account for the family (not so). Then I accidentally entered the wrong PayPal account which I tried to change but couldn’t, but then figured out later I could delete it and then newly enter the correct account (sigh).

At first use at the fuel station I was pleasantly surprised it was very easy and quick to use. Finger print login super easy. Pump selection could be easier, sorry but using Apple’s list scroller is not the best way to pick a simple pump number (lost a Star). Everything else worked amazingly smoothly and quickly. I love the fact that the map shows which stations do and do not support BPme. This app hands down beats the USA method of using credit cards at the pump. Fantastic job BP, thank you for making my life easier with young ones in the back seat.
