Description
Caffiend is designed to help you track your caffeine intake. It's built to take advantage of iOS, including support for saving data to Health, Widgets, and now Lockscreen Widgets. All of this wrapped in brand new, modern user interface that is optimized to help you quickly log your caffeine. The Home Screen shows you daily totals in additional to a graphical overview of the past week. You also have one tap access to favorites, giving you the ultimate way to log your daily coffee or soda.
But logging all that data is only useful if you can manage it. Your Caffiend Journal is a history of all your intake. This allows you to track your caffeine and hydration intake over days, weeks, months and beyond. If you make a mistake, no problem - easily tap and edit to make adjustments to your caffeine history, all of which is reflected in Apple Health as well.
Caffiend also supports Dark mode, Siri and more. Another important feature - Caffiend does not require a subscription and never will.
Of note - Caffiend for Apple Watch is in the process of being rebuilt, and will return in a future update.

Not user friendly
Really difficult to set up quick drinks and doesn't seem at all intuitive. No common Australian coffees such as flat white, long black or Nespresso. I'm deleting it and trying another one.

EDIT: Dev says below that changes are coming with an upcoming update so take that into consideration 👍
It’s all American drinks. It’s hard to work out how to use the app. Some drinks seem to add zero hydration but similar drinks add it. It showed 7 litres earlier when I’ve only drank about 1 litre. Weird.
Why can’t I just define the 3 quick drinks from scratch: give each one a name, assign an icon, and type in an exact amount of caffeine and hydration? Why do I have to select those 3 drinks from lists of weird American stuff and some “home made” drinks which aren’t exactly what I want? What’s the point of tracking caffeine and water at all, if it can’t be accurate?
Wasted a dollar and wasted my time unfortunately.

Sorry about the frustrating experience you had with Caffiend. Rest assured you didn’t waste your dollar. I’m definitely aware of the calculation bug, and there is a major update coming very soon to fix it. This update also changes the behavior of the favorites so you can do exactly as you described - create as many drinks as you want, and set their icons and values to exactly what you want.
There is some support for custom drinks in the current version you have, so that might solve some problems temporarily. Also you can submit custom drinks to the Caffiend database to help add some local flavor to the app. I do try and track down caffeine values for brands that customers request, so if you have certain local brands I’m missing please let me know. Keep an eye out for Caffiend 2.0 coming very soon! I think you will find a lot to like in it.
