CancerAid is a FREE app that helps address issues cancer patients experience. It is the digital companion, travelling with a patient from the moment of diagnosis, through to treatments and into survivorship.

“I am very impressed with the information, care and support available in CancerAid. I can’t thank you enough for helping my husband and I will be passing this information on to friends in a similar situation to myself” - Sarah (caregiver)

Designed by oncology physicians in conjunction with patients and caregivers, CancerAid has quickly become the most comprehensive cancer resource available globally. The app provides information for over 150 adult, pediatric and rare cancers and their treatments.

“I find myself always referring back to CancerAid, to do what it takes to have a better understanding of all these body changes and feels…” - Rosemary (cancer survivor)

Randomised evidence has shown that cancer patients who track and record their symptoms can have improved outcomes. CancerAid is the first cancer app globally to allow for symptoms tracked in-app to be made available for care teams in the hospital.

“The CancerAid app is the one place I write down all my symptoms and how I feel. Since I always have my phone with me it saves me from having to remember every fortnight what I needed to say to my oncologist, and they also have access which is great! - Kerry (cancer patient on treatment)

Good app could be a little better

Have found the ability’s to track symptoms very easy to use. But the fact that I cannot enter my chemo treatment is worrying. The symptoms are related to that treatment, so I want to be able to look back at that relationship.
I love that I can have champions. Great to know my distant family can follow along with my progress.
Thank you for adding the ability to backdate entry of symptoms. Very useful.
Will be better when I can add my treatment.

Best THING ever to be made available to cancer patients

Being in the recruitment industry, I recruit a lot of medical staff for Cancer care providers. This is the BEST app I have seen for helping lighten the load on patients and their families during a time that is so stressful that remembering to buy milk is a challenge! Let alone trying to remember everything about your treatment. I can’t recommend this APP enough.

Breast cancer survivor

I am 4 years cancer free
Double mastectomy chemotherapy radiation hysterectomy and left with horrendous nerve pain that has crippled me and basically knocked the wind out of me
As a paitent I never found any cancer group helpful
The whole time I found concentrating on distracting myself with keeping busy and go as more in deep breathing meditation and yoga deep water running and hydrotherapy Being treated also by a physiotherapist I also fostered rescue dogs to help me get out of bed and not cry all day in pain
All you want to do is what works the best for you which is taking care of your pain and joints
I found getting involved in cancer groups or getting dressed in pink to do fun runs for charity is just time taken away from rehabilitation
Your whole world is getting back to being strong
