GoPro Quik 12+

The hero 8 go pro stopped being able to download my footage to the app that got automatically updated from the
Original go pro app And now I cannot download any footage from go pro to my iphone 12, very disappointed as this use to be so easy to use, and the proof is still in the pudding as my OLD ipad who wont upgrade to the ridiculous QUICK app still downloads footage no problem but what a headache with all the transferring i just use a uniden dash cam now for our off roading, out dating the software only shows me whats to come if I updated to a new camera so NO THANKS plenty other options available now it was a silly move on their behalf i know of 6 people that have had the same issue as me and have given up to, used to be so great and easy to use they bring out a new one and try superseded the old one not on as most of us will pass the old one onto the teenagers n buy the new one, not now! My kids wouldn’t touch it if I paid them too, nice work go pro 🙄

I don’t have a PC or Laptop and just rely on the mobile app to upload from my go pro. The “hands on” time it takes to upload could be easily solved with a scheduled option. When taking a clip / short segment of a video and saving it to the go pro app....you’re currently only offered 2 options to “upload now” or “share”, you then press “upload now” and wait, wait! Depending on the length of the segment. If there where a 3rd option.... schedule for upload. The user could then go through and clip out everything in multiple videos that they need, save uploading unwanted data and do this in a shorter period of time then press “upload all clips” and walk away and get on with something more important, like making a coffee for example. I personally do everything myself and on reason I have bought another go pro is I just don’t have the time to spend uploading footage. Even try capture less to save time and miss out on great footage! I’ve no idea if a go pro subscription solves this problem but Just don’t have the time to go and find out as it’s probably not an ‘everyone’ problem. Anyway, stay passionate! Love the art and this is just one little gripe I wanted to get out there in the hope someone takes this idea and implements it. A nice big “add clip to group” button then “upload group now”

it’s an ok app but could be better, it’s a step backwards getting rid of the flashbacks as that was a favourite feature of mine and I still have the old version installed and fight against it to keep and download new flashbacks it makes. also it’s still a pain to keep it connected to the phone ( drops out often) and it’s awe full to use when you have more than one gopro running , it should be able to manage multiple gopros at once like some other apps easily handle multiple cameras 🎥 editing gestures are basic and I still don’t get why it doesn’t store directly to camera roll i. a folder instead of within the app then you save to camera roll . why use twice the space up and take twice the time transferring. Quick and simple is better than long and confusing . also when deleting a media give option to delete in cloud as well if it’s been uploaded . nothing worse than having to compare- app-camera roll- gopro cloud - desktop to figure out why something deleted keeps turning up again. other than that it does have some nice features . just needs some improvements and bring back flashbacks.
