I was using the undo button a lot to see how the black would move and I noticed after a few presses of the undo my piece vanished off the board and the black didn't move at all. I also have photographic evidence of three black Knights!! I was pressing the undo again to study the blacks movements and I couldn't move my bishop to check black, I undid a few more times with a move in between and the third black knight was revealed. I want to sent a photo to someone as proof.
Irritating, Annoying, do not buy this game!
This game was fun to play but i was disappointed after i discovered if i move my piece to many times it becomes stale mate. I thought this was just a one timer thing but this repeatedly happened. As you can imagine this was annoying when you have 1 queens, 1 bishops, king and 2 knights against there king already in position for check mate!
This game became extremely annoying!
I advice people not to buy this game but i believe it is good enough for people wanting to learn chess.
From the SAS MASTER!
A great game for the iPhone. It works well enough, though as a single player against the AI, it cheats! It refuses to allow en-passant moves by pawns even though it will do such to the player; and sometimes just before the player can inevitably win a game, it will claim a draw instead, refusing a legitimate score to the single player. The interface is clear and the options are extensive and helpful (e.g. turning on or off music etc). A good free app for someone looking for a classic game.
