Why even try?

Most insecure and infuriatingly annoying way to manage your securities.
Modern security features like keychain, password managers, or two factor authentication? Nope, never heard of them. Can’t even paste a password into password field - you have to type it in letter by letter, digit by symbol, so the user is forced to either shorten the password to make it easier to type of remember, or suffer through having to reset it every time you use this app - because if you mistype your password a couple of times it will lock you out - you know, for your own security.
No updates for 2 years since version 1.0! Why not? The authors obviously think it’s perfect as it is. Or maybe they just can’t log into their developers account because it’s locked them out and they don’t know password managers or keychain or 2fa exist. Who knows.

Computer share Investor Services. Impossible

I have spent hours and hours over several years trying to operate Computershare Investor Services. I find it nearly impossible to deal with and initiate action for the simplest of tasks. The latest is my password which is supposedly incorrect even though it was only recently changed. To alter my password a letter is to be sent in the mail. A month has gone by and no letter. Today I tried again to log in and retrieve/update my password. No go. A letter is being sent in the mail. That’s crazy!!
All I want to do is update basic details and have been trying to do this for several months without success. Even registering newly purchased shares on the so called ‘easy update’ is far from easy.
Please Computershare update your system.
No wonder your approval rating is 1.4 out of 5.

Rubbish

I would have given it a -5 if able to. I downloaded the app hoping to avoid the very clunky logon screen of the website, but found it was not an app but simply a portal to that website logon screen. The website too is rubbish, with none of the modern features such as two factor identification, but with security questions to which it doesn’t seem to record the answers, but requires a reset of the password. I don’t know how many times I have changed passwords over the last few years. Neither the website or the app seem to have been updated for at least three years which leaves me wondering how secure is the site.

I also note the Developer Response is the same automated message it was using years ago. Is there even a developer?
