Moved to Deezer
I have a few Audio devices with Deezer built in and with the option of FLAC music decided to switch from S****** and pay the extra for the quality in Deezer. I was not sure that I would be able to pick this up, but with a lot of ambient and classical musical styles that I enjoy, the difference is palpable.
Generally I find the app easier to move around than the competition, the CarPlay App works well too. Flow - their user driven playlist - seems much more tuned into my taste. The App is a little buggy occasionally and this seems to be something to do with the Cache which needs emptying, most often with CarPlay. When listening to FLAC it takes a few seconds for the audio to start even on a very fast connection which we have (100MB). Playlists are easy to create and curate. I have eclectic tastes and was pleased to find that often Deezer had the same and more than the competition.
Unless the competition moves to lossless audio at a lower price point, I am happy to pay for the quality and easy of use that Deezer offers.

Yep, I love it, I pay for premium and I get premium. With a great hi fi system I can actually hear the great quality of sound offered by Deezer, true, some older songs aren’t the best quality by their nature , I’m talking early 70’s or there about. The new stuff is magic. You just need to pay for the great feature set and great sound quality. Please don’t expect premium features for a fee of $$$ZERO , it just doesn’t work like that. You can always subscribe and cancel if you don’t like it. There are times when I travel overseas snd I freeze my payments till I get home. I do love it and highly recommend it.
Good quality Audio yet quiet a few problems persist
I decided to stay with Deezer for a long time because I believed they had higher integrity than other available options. I have encountered several issues with discrepancies between what they promise and what they deliver. I have always lived in a regional area, so the phone data connection remains terrible even with 5G. They advertise that offline music is accessible, particularly if downloaded. However, when I'm offline and attempt to open the app, it insists on a connection to load my favorite playlist. Even when online it spends time loading the list again and again, then click on song it takes ages to load and play whats the point in downloading if it going to act like it online! It consistently shows zero, preventing me from listening offline at all. Additionally, there are frequent periods when the app crashes repeatedly. It's been like this for a long time, and I've just put up with it. But App doesn't work as promised by Deezer.
