Editors' Notes

We’d be lost without Dropbox—it’s an indispensable part of our digital toolbox. But for all its usefulness, the thing we appreciate most about this cloud-storage app is how little we have to think about it. Whether we’re sharing documents between devices, uploading photos directly from our camera, or emailing large files to friends, it all just works—seamlessly and effortlessly.

Can we fix an old feature?

I’m a long time Dropbox user. 9 years, pro account upgraded to a teams for the extra TB. In doing so the Camera upload feature is a mess. I upgraded my personal account to a team account and now I can’t upload camera files unless I connect a person account. Connecting a dummy personal account results in a 400 error on login in the app. When I sign out of everything and just sign into the dummy I find the finally uploaded files have a new mangled naming scheme with day-month-year so nothing sorts. Camera upload worked great for 8 years. I’ve spent a lot on just getting more space. And a bunch of the features that I really liked are busted. I’m in you’re eco system I’m stuck. I know you’re a massive company and congrats on the IPO, but could you fix the camera upload problem?

Very helpful for transferring my files between devices

Excited Man

I have no trouble opening photos or GIFs or videos on my app. The only thing I would ask is that a function that allows me to add a whole group of files to my camera roll is added. It is painfully slow having to export each individual photo and being able to add all my desired files at once would cut the time into a fraction of what it takes now.
