Important: To ensure your privacy, Apple Health is turned off by default when you use Easy Diet Diary. To enable Apple Health, in Easy Diet Diary go to Settings and tap ‘Connect with Health’. You will then need to give Easy Diet Diary permission to read and write data to Apple Health.

Aussie diet watchers delight
Five stars for an app well and truly good enough to pay for. It has NEVER crashed in over two years and never frustrated me. It's interface it totally workable once you get insight into what it's trying to do. While similar apps concentrate only on calories, this gives you an overview on all nutrients making it much more useful. With a huge Aussie food database it is so much more useful for people who have to watch and monitor other aspects of their diet like sat. fats, sodium etc. The only addition that could be made is both CSIRO RDIs and maybe personalized RDIs. I'm totally wrapped in this as a monitoring tool. At 65 with dodgy knees and a few more kilos than I needed, set about dropping my weight by 8 kilos and this tool and a little will power was totally all I needed. 2 years on and that weight is long gone. Excellent App.
Great but could use a few more features
I really like this app. I love that it's Aussie, it's really easy to use. The barcode scanner is really helpful!
I would love to see a few more things... I like that it shows the daily nutrient intake, but would love it to also show how I'm going compared to RDI for the nutrients too! Just like the kj sections show a graph of how I'm going for the day. My goal is to lose weight by eating healthy, balanced meals rather than fad dieting. If possible it would also be good to track how many serves from each food group I have each day.
As suggested by others, it would also be great to be able to track water, caffeine and also dietary fibre.
Otherwise it's a really nice app and is helping to keep me motivated in working towards my goal.
Best Aussie App
One of the best apps especially for those living in Australia. I really like the fact that you can sync and backup your data to the cloud as well. I also like the fact that you can even sync your data with Apple’s Health app. Scanning barcode’s has to be the app’s best feature - its really quick, accurate and its just amazing how it has never failed once in identifying the what that items was. I set a new year’s resolution for myself which is to lose weight and reach my real goal. With this app - this is a possibility especially since it will help me keep track of all of those snacks that I consume. I am so impressed with the app - great job and keep up the good work ! :-)
