App for iOS 8.2 or newer?
I downloaded this app to my iPhone as a way of keeping myself safe if any danger happened near me. But now, I see that the app will only be suited for the current devices, and they've shut off app functionality to older devices.
If this is an emergency app, it shouldn't have to be so demanding on what version of iOS it should run on. I think it's idiotic, and the people behind this app should be more considerate of users who don't have devices like the iPhone 6 or iPad Air 2.
I've given this app 3 stars because it's useful, but I disapprove of it only being workable for current new devices. Those who are reading this, if your device/s has iOS 8.2, good for you. Those like me who don't, hopefully you won't run into anything dangerous while you're out and about.
This app is great and does what it needs to.
One thing though; it would be great if when your device enters a watch zone that you only receive one notification for incidents, because currently it would send 2 notifications, one for location proximity and another for the watch zone.
Besides that, this is a great app that I would definitely recommend for all Aussies that want to stay safe throughout the year.
this app is great or I should say was great,
it would alert me to jobs before my pager would go off.
but over the last week it hasn't been alerting me at all, I've deleted the app after checking my proximity alerts & they where still on, location services where set to always on, reinstalled the app & still no alerts coming through
