If you care about nothing else, how about the fact that I don’t see posts about lost dogs in my area until 1-4 days later? Do you not care about lost dogs? Are you heartless monsters? (I think we’re all pretty aware the answer is yes)

please bring back chronological order for newsfeed. You know what’s not useful? Seeing bushfire alerts and weather event posts from 4 days ago. And seeing them over and over again. And it’s also extremely frustrating when you’ve just seen something 2 seconds ago but the feed refreshes so it’s now completely gone from the feed and you can’t find it again unless you can search for it which often you can’t if it was just a random post someone you’re friends with has commented on. You can’t tell me you’re trying to show me what’s most relevant or interesting to me because I’m telling me you’re not. I can do that myself. At least give us the option of having it in chronological order.
Another example - during the triple j hottest 100, did not see one single post about the countdown. Now, a day later, I’m seeing the individual song posts in no particular order spread across the day. And my only option now is to unfollow them unless I want to continue to be annoyed by them showing up in my newsfeed for the next 4 days instead of just showing up as and when they were posted (which is when I actually would have been interested in that info).

Latest version a complete WOFTAM

Facebook in its latest iteration is starting to show its true intentions as an on-going human experiment hell bent on puppeting man kind to suit its every whim. Now displaying comments as impossible to read thought bubbles (especially on an iphone any older than a 6), constantly manipulated timelines and 'news'feed that updates itself, regularly removing your actual friends posts from your sight and inserting ads and 'real un-fake' news from 'trusted sources' in your feed - which often are articles from fringe dwelling alt-right or the loony left masquerading as enlightened opinion.

App is also glitchy, often shutting down in the middle of one its 'forced' updates of your feed or timeline.

Sigh, imagine how good and useful facebook would be if they would just lose the 'feed generating' (read:buls#!t production) algorithms that seem hell-bent on mind control and censoring what is seen and went back to a user deciding when to update or reload their own feed - which they would get through in half the time as they wouldn't have so much garbage and clutter to get through to see what their friends are up to each time they visit... All in a text size that wouldn't require the use of binoculars in anyone over the age of 30....

Newsfeed images do not load. Energy Hungry

Suddenly my newsfeed is inundated with advertising. Not a major issue, I patiently click the “Hide Advert” followed by “Hide All from XXXXX”.
The bug I noticed was that the “Save/Hide etc menu pops up followed almost immediately by the same menu sliding in from below.
This is visually unpleasant and also prevents me clicking Hide Advert for a short while.

Facebook. You are way too eager to get to my phone camera. There is a camera icon to click when I want to take a picture. Why is it that during my normal scrolling though the news feed you also interpret any lateral movement of my thumb as a hint to open the camera.
Stop It! It wastes time because while the camera peeps around the posts I can not scroll further and I am convinced wastes battery because it has to power up the camera to use it.
Stop going to the camera when I do not click on the camera icon.

Images fail to load in newsfeed.
Well it was not fixed. In this last update, the posts in my newsfeed do not show the normal image that accompanies the content. Rather all I see is a little 'reload' arrow. Clicking the arrow simply makes it turn around once then stop.

Energy hungry.
The last update appears to be particularly hard on processing.
The display response slowly and the battery drain is enormous.
Let's hope this is fixed in the next update.
